Pink and Purple Flower Cake & Cookies

This was for a birthday celebration! It had fondant flowers and was a chocolate cake, with coconut cream filling, vanilla buttercream and coconut on the outside!

I did a variety of almond sugar cookies for this birthday as well. There were two different types of flowers, and cookies that said Happy Birthday and Birthday Girl!

Flower Bridal Shower

These turned out so cute! They were all topped with the same type of ruffly flower, but each color flower was a different type of cupcake.

We did:
Red velvet - Red Flower
Lemon with lemon filling and vanilla buttercream - Yellow Flower
Carrot cake - Orange Flower
Chocolate with raspberry filling and chocolate icing - Purple Flower
Strawberry with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream - Pink Flower
Chocolate salted caramel - Blue Flower

The display that was set up with them turned out so cute!

Hollywood Cookies

These were so much fun to make! I made movie reels, film strips, clap boards, movie tickets, cameras, palm trees and the stars! What a fun treat to take on a destination birthday party to Hollywood!

Mother's Day 2013

I didn't end up doing a whole lot for mothers day this year, however this is what I had made for my mom as an experiment. I baked chocolate cupcakes in a terra-cotta pot topped them with salted caramel icing and chocolate cookie crumbs followed by a fondant flower. Pretty fun!

Tractor Easter Birthday Cake

This was a cake for a second birthday at easter. It is supposed to be a tractor, however I think that with the blue and orange color scheme it looks more like a car. The birthday boy loves chocolate candy so it has Easter M&M's around the base as well as fondant bunnies!

Small Gone Fishing Cake

What a fun cake for the man who loves fishing! This small 6" cake was topped with a lake, boat, fish tail, bobber, boat, tackle box, fishing pole, ducks, grass and fish tail plants.

I love the way the boat turned out on this one!

Stitch!

I thought this guy was cute! I would do it differently if I could do it over and give him more of a sideways oval head like the real cartoon but he was pretty fun!

Cookie, Brownie & Mini cupcake catering trays!

I recently catered a corporate event and did some simple yet delicious things. I wanted to give an idea of what the platters would look like.

We did oatmeal raisin cookies, chocolate chip cookies, red velvet cupcakes, and coconut macadamia brownies. Unfortunately I forgot to get a photo of the brownies and cupcakes.

Super Mario Cookies

What a fun theme for a birthday party! These cookies were bagged up to put in the kids goodie bags to take home. We did the mushrooms, stars and gold coins. My favorites were the stars and mushrooms!

Softball Cookies

I did these for the girls softball team end of the year banquet. Pretty fun!

Baseball Cupcakes

These baseball cupcakes were for a boy's 9th birthday. He was taking them to his baseball team so it was a fun theme!

Going Away Cake

This was a going away cake for a girl who worked at Starbucks.
Pretty fun for a simple cake!

Easter Sampler Box

We did a sampler box this easter with a few of each of our offerings. Each one had at least a dozen items and included our Coconut Macaroon nests, Chocolate and Vanilla Cake balls as well as some decorated sugar cookies!

Gift Box Cake

I did a bunch of these the last few weeks and apparently this is the only one I took a picture of.
It is a mini 6" cake covered in buttercream, with a fondant "lid" and fabric ribbon. Fun cake for birthdays and celebrations! I did one that was black and red, yellow and green, black and white, and hot pink.

Easter Chick & Bunny Cake Balls

These just crack me up! I can't decide which one I like better - the vanilla bunnies or the chocolate chicks. These cake balls were covered in coconut with white chocolate and royal icing garnishes.

Purple Roses Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was so clean and simple. I loved the elegance it had!
The piping design the bride picked is one of my personal favorites!

Easter Sugar & Almond Cookies

All of the desserts we did for Easter this year just made me so happy! They were so fun and happy!!!

We did a variety of different decorated sugar and almond cookies.

Easter Eggs and Bunnies

Flowers and Birds

Chicks and Carrots

*Not pictured were the "Happy Easter" cookies as well

"The Bachelor" Finale Party

One of my clients threw a 'Bachelor' season finale party! The cookies were topped with specific sayings relating to the TV show! The finalists names - Lindsay and Catherine and the bachelor Sean!

We also made chocolate cupcakes topped with engagement rings and red roses!

I just thought they were so fun!

Chocolate Candy Cupcakes

This was for a fun little boys birthday party where they were having a bounce house! He loves chocolate so all of the cupcakes were chocolate and half had vanilla buttercream and the other half had chocolate buttercream. They were all topped with some type of candy treat - mini oreos, hershey bars, mini m&m's, whoppers, mini reeces cups, and cookies & cream bars! Simple and fun!

Simple German Chocolate Cake

It must seem like all I ever do is wacky shaped cakes, so here is an example of a simple style birthday cake. It was a german chocolate with toasted coconut on the top!
