California Wedding

This was an awesome wedding! I flew home to California from North Carolina so that I could make this great collection of treats!
I made just over 1300 individual mini desserts and guests had a choice of a little bit of everything when I was finished!
I am so glad I got to do this one, Congratulations Kraus Family!!!!

It was set up in this awesome gazebo! It was so cute with the little candles and lights all over

I am so glad I was able to fly from North Carolina to California to do this wedding! It was so much fun!!!!

Owl Graduate

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this cake!
I have never done an owl cake before and now I am trying to create excuses to make another one!

Congrats Andrea!

This was for a college graduate and I don't think it could have gotten any more happy and fun!

Rock'n Babyshower

This was my first attempt at a guitar shaped cake, and I don't think it turned out that bad! It was a chocolate cake covered in fondant and was for a baby boy baby shower! I tried to create the same shape and color scheme as the invitation!

I didn't make the cake massive so I also made some peanut butter cupcakes to go along with it!

I love the 3D effect on the onsies!

This is the close up views of the base and neck of the guitar. The baby to be's last name was Osteen!

Cupcake Wedding!

What a great last wedding that I did in North Carolina!! This is the second one I did at this location and it turned out awesome! I did 150 cupcakes and a little 6" wedding cake to go with it. Half of the cupcakes were vanilla with raspberry filling and Irish cream buttercream. The other half of the cupcakes and the cake were chocolate stout cake, raspberry filling and Irish cream buttercream. I used a local beer, pisgah stout, for the cake base. The wedding was right down the road from the brewery so that was a unique local touch added to this awesome event!

From the Front

The mother of the bride had me incorporate just a few flowers to add a splash of color as well as a few of the party favor boxes to tie in more of the olive green

I topped the cupcakes with a pale green dragee. Even though they were simple, the fact that there were so many made them look extremely elegant

6" Irish Cream Buttercream covered cake with light green swirls and a single rose cake topper. I loved the fact that the bride had me use eucalyptus leaves as the greenery on the table!

White & Green Spring Wedding

This was a elegant and simple spring wedding cake! I am in love with this color scheme!!! This was a small three tier cake covered in white fondant. It had a silver ribbon around the bottom of each tier and had white icing decorations on each side. We used a variety of the flowers used in wedding.

I loved making this cake!

Love is Sweet Wedding

This was an awesome wedding! It was at a really great location in a rustic resort where the entire wedding party stayed for the weekend!

This was a second marriage for both the bride and groom and they thought it would be fun to have a non-traditional wedding cake and have a way to tie the kids from the previous marriages in to the festivities! The bride, groom and kids each chose their favorite desserts and we created them for the guests to enjoy!

The Wedding Cake!

The Brides Favorite: Bread Pudding with a Bourbon Caramel Sauce

The Groom's Favorite: Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Ryan's Favorite: Strawberry Shortcake

Megan's Favorite: Carrot Cake

Ariana's Favorite: Snickerdoodles
& Peach Crisps

I forgot to to take photos of Ardeshir's favorites: Coconut Macaroons & Smores on a Stick

Kitchen Sink Grooms Cake

I have so much fun doing what I do! This too was so much fun to make! The running joke between the bride and groom was that she was marrying him because he did the dishes so this cake was so perfect for him!

It did have a silver faucet and two handles but I forgot to take pictures of it once it was assembled....

Brown Babyshower Cake

This was a simple way to do a babyshower cake. It was a chocolate cake with strawberry filling (the mom-to-be's favorite!), covered in  brown fondant and topped with a fun brown and blue bow!

Torso Cake

This was a pretty fun cake to make for a birthday party! It was covered in fondant and had some pretty awesome abs if I do say so myself!

I even gave him a few little tattoos, just to make him more fun!

Chocolate Strawberry Cake

This was a fun and simple 6 inch mini cake. It was strawberry cake with a chocolate ganache filling and chocolate covered strawberries on the top!

Boy Baby Shower Cake Pops

What a fun way to have dessert for a baby shower!

Rice Crispy Treats!

These are not a your average traditional rice crispy treats!

 Thin Mint Rice Crispy Treats!

Cookies & Cream Rice Crispy Treats!
And... Coming Soon, Red Velvet treats & Birthday Cake treats!!!

Hummingbird Cake

So even thought this cake was decorated extremely simply, it was a unique cake that I had never heard of before I got a request for it. This is a traditional Southern treat called a Hummingbird cake. It is a banana cake with pineapple, pecans and coconut in it and covered with cream cheese icing.

Don't Worry Be Happy

This was quite possibly one of the most fun grooms cakes I have done! The fish was airbrushed and the top of the cake was covered in fondant made to look like wood.
