I also did 125 cupcakes to go with it.

70th Birthday Cake

This was my last cake I did while I was living in North Carolina. It was quite a challenge, and I loved every minute of making it!!
This was for a grandfather's 70th birthday and they wanted everything that he loved, or they knew him for on it, and it was FUN!

The front of the cake!

The NYC skyline (because he is from NY), He loves his Merlot (bottle & grapes) and his favorite cars is a 79 Cadillac

He has a miniature yorki, loves bowling, and loves to golf!

He loves his bible, he isn't a grinch but they have a family joke that he is, and he draws this jojo character on any piece of paper he gets his hands on.

This was a fun cake because I feel like I got to know him, and I never met him!

California Wedding

This was an awesome wedding! I flew home to California from North Carolina so that I could make this great collection of treats!
I made just over 1300 individual mini desserts and guests had a choice of a little bit of everything when I was finished!
I am so glad I got to do this one, Congratulations Kraus Family!!!!

It was set up in this awesome gazebo! It was so cute with the little candles and lights all over

I am so glad I was able to fly from North Carolina to California to do this wedding! It was so much fun!!!!

Owl Graduate

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this cake!
I have never done an owl cake before and now I am trying to create excuses to make another one!

Congrats Andrea!

This was for a college graduate and I don't think it could have gotten any more happy and fun!

Rock'n Babyshower

This was my first attempt at a guitar shaped cake, and I don't think it turned out that bad! It was a chocolate cake covered in fondant and was for a baby boy baby shower! I tried to create the same shape and color scheme as the invitation!

I didn't make the cake massive so I also made some peanut butter cupcakes to go along with it!

I love the 3D effect on the onsies!

This is the close up views of the base and neck of the guitar. The baby to be's last name was Osteen!

Cupcake Wedding!

What a great last wedding that I did in North Carolina!! This is the second one I did at this location and it turned out awesome! I did 150 cupcakes and a little 6" wedding cake to go with it. Half of the cupcakes were vanilla with raspberry filling and Irish cream buttercream. The other half of the cupcakes and the cake were chocolate stout cake, raspberry filling and Irish cream buttercream. I used a local beer, pisgah stout, for the cake base. The wedding was right down the road from the brewery so that was a unique local touch added to this awesome event!

From the Front

The mother of the bride had me incorporate just a few flowers to add a splash of color as well as a few of the party favor boxes to tie in more of the olive green

I topped the cupcakes with a pale green dragee. Even though they were simple, the fact that there were so many made them look extremely elegant

6" Irish Cream Buttercream covered cake with light green swirls and a single rose cake topper. I loved the fact that the bride had me use eucalyptus leaves as the greenery on the table!
